Aircraft Factfile and Recognition Guide
Most of the aircraft featured here are American-made, but as time
passes, more and more internationally-made
aircraft will be featured here. More entries will appear as time goes by,
so please check back often. Please keep
in mind that many of the entries may be outdated - by as many as three or four
years, so you can probably look at
those entries as being historical in a sense.
New updates to each factfile will also take advantage of the huge
archive of photos on Airliners.net!
All photographs are copyrighted to the original photographer and each link will
take you to the photo
as it appears on Airliners.net. This is one of their preferred ways of
linking to photos. In addition,
you will also be able to sort through the selected aircraft's photos through
different searches, such as
aircraft type, location it was shot, photographer, and even down to the
individual aircraft.
I am no longer
providing the WEFT descriptions for each entry, as it's become unnecessary
due to the large number of photographs in each factfile. The photographs
themselves will do
the talking, in terms of identifying any of the aircraft covered in the
factfiles. It's still going to
be called the Aircraft Factfile and Recognition Guide despite the WEFTs being
gone.
All text found in each factfile comes from various sources on the
Internet, and each source
is credited at the bottom of each page. No ownership of the text is
implied.
If you want more information, do a Google search on that particular aircraft.
