The Gathering of Mustangs and Legends Airshow
Rickenbacker ANGB, Ohio
September 27-30, 2007.
Below you can find a select few of my pictures
from the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.
Please keep in mind that all of these pictures are of ground shots, as I have no
aerial photos.
Not all of the P-51s have arrived once I got onto the Rickenbacker Mustang ramp on Thursday.
This picture sums up the bad weather we had on Thursday. The runway is about a quarter of a mile away from where I am standing.
This C-17 Globemaster III carried the callsign of Thunderbird 14, which is the support plane for the Thunderbirds.
This P-51C Mustang is owned by Jim Beasley, Jr. and is one of my favorite Mustangs.
P-63 Kingcobra.
What a difference a day makes - this is from Friday morning at about 8:10 am.
At least thirty P-51s came in after the rain stopped on Thursday. This is NOT all of them!
Polar Bear is the only P-51A Mustang in airworthy condition.
Ole Yeller is based on the P-51that Bob Hoover used to fly in airshows decades ago.
There are at least eight different Mustangs in this picture...
There is so much eye candy in this one picture.
Just some crowd shots... both taken on Saturday, plus about 80% of the P-51s in attendance.
I will upload the rest of the pictures to a separate account so that you can view them a lot easier.

I will not be producing a DVD of the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends due to copyright issues with the Stallion 51 Corporation.
