As you can tell, the weather did not cooperate for the RI ANG Open House & Airshow for both Saturday and Sunday. All of the aerobatic pilots got a chance to fly except for Chuck Lischer, as a line of steady rain came in as he had already climbed in his F-260. The ceiling was stuck at or below airshow minimums for the entire day, which is 1,500 feet. By some miracle, the F/A-18C, C-130J-30, and CH-146 were all able to put on some sort of demonstration. The A-10 was unable to fly because of the ceiling, as was the QF-4 Phantom. The Thunderbirds didn't get a chance to fly at all that weekend - the Friday afternoon practice show was all they were able to get in for the entire weekend. I spent Friday and Saturday at Quonset State Airport and am glad I made the trip to Westfield on Sunday, as RI's show on Sunday was practically a washout - but they were able to send the C-130J-30 to Westfield.
