Willow Grove puts on a nice show for a small base. Even with no demo team, as displayed this year, it was still a great airshow. I enjoyed it. I am definitely coming back for their next airshow.

As I mentioned above, Willow Grove puts on a nice airshow. The 1998 show was one of their best "civilian" airshows. And I say cilvilian for a reason. There are more civilian acts in the show (a little more than the military), which makes it more interesting. Then there's the military side, which was larger than the 1992 show. The F-16, F/A-18, F-117, P-3, and Harrier demos were among the best. The performances put on by Frank Ryder, Gene Soucy, the French Connection, the Keystone Jumpers, Six of Diamonds, Chuck Lischer, and the Connie were among top-notch. I was disappointed the Skytypers couldn't do their demo because of the low clouds towards the end. But they did a few passes over the flight line to make up for it. To end the show, a nice Heritage flyby of the P-51 and F-16 closed out the 1998 show.
Show itself: 9.5
